LONDON INTERNAL DC

We created a work area in the internal datacentre (DC) for engineers to be able to work from in an emergency situation.  Complete with stand alone computers that would not be affected in a disaster.  They were fed power from a battery backup unit, included phone charging options for all mobile phone types.  These connections also allowed for mobile phone tethering in case both internet pipes failed.  We created clear network diagrams that could be used to investigate connection errors with all required information permanently on hand.
